Alicia Gutierrez-Romine was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her BA in history with honors from California State University, San Bernardino, and her PhD in history from the University ot Southern California. When she isn’t teaching, researching, writing, or filming, you can probably find her at the gym. She enjoys cooking, photography, and bodybuilding.
